MEET THE FOUNDER
Through speaking, writing, and storytelling, Hillary
invites people to think more deeply, lead more
intentionally, and become more fully themselves.

She lost trust in her own judgment — and rebuilt it, not by rejecting the label, but by refusing to let it, or anyone else’s opinion, make her decisions for her.
MissLabeled was born from Hillary Cassel’s own journey with a label she didn’t choose — one that arrived in the middle of building a career as a young attorney. She lost trust in her own judgment — and rebuilt it, not by rejecting the label, but by refusing to let it, or anyone else’s opinion, make her decisions for her. Her chapters in law, public service, and leadership followed as evidence of that discernment in practice, not the point of the brand.

Knowing what is actually true about you, underneath what you’ve been told.
Telling the difference — which labels hold information, which only hold someone’s opinion.
Being willing to act on that difference when it costs something.
Choosing deliberately rather than by default or inheritance.
A life that matches what you found to be true.
Hillary Cassel is a lawyer, Florida State Representative, speaker, entrepreneur, and founder of MissLabeled — a platform helping people question the labels they’ve inherited and reclaim authorship of their own story.
Hillary Cassel is a lawyer, Florida State Representative, speaker, entrepreneur, and founder of MissLabeled. Her career has taken her from the courtroom to the Capitol, through entrepreneurship, public service, and some of life’s most defining chapters, giving her a unique perspective on the tension between the labels we’re given and the lives we’re ultimately called to build.
Today, she explores the questions that define a life well lived: How do we trust ourselves? How do we continue becoming without losing who we are? Through speaking, writing, and storytelling, Hillary invites people to think more deeply, lead more intentionally, and become more fully themselves.
